Mental Health First Response

Available by telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, the Mental Health First Response team is also available for people who wish to “walk-in” to one of our offices.

The Mental Health First Response Team is available for

• individuals who may be experiencing a mental health problem or a crisis
• people looking for guidance on how to support a loved one
• health care providers seeking assistance in navigating community supports.

Services delivered by our Mental Health professionals include: crisis intervention (mental health assessment, suicide intervention), referrals to other services, assessment for CMHA supports and family support.
